***IF YOU WANT A TRULY ALUMINUM FREE DEODORANT, LOOK ELSEWHERE- HERBAN COWBOY IS NOT YOUR ANSWER***Let me start off by saying I tried Herban Cowboy after trying a few other "natural" deodorant brands that did not work. I went with this product because it claimed to be aluminum free. I used this product for a few weeks and felt that as a deodorant it wasn't very effective. It does not last and you feel like you smell by the end of a workday (I have an office job!) and especially after a workout. (yuck!!) My BIGGEST ISSUE with Herban Cowboy is that it is MISLEADING by claiming to be truly aluminum free. When I received the deodorant, it had a big, gooey sticker covering up the ingredient list. When I randomly peeled that off to look at the ingredients, I noticed the complete ingredient list on the product is NOT the same as the one listed in the description online. MINERAL SALTS aka POTASSIUM ALUM was not listed on the Amazon description, but it is on the product itself. This is an ingredient that DOES contain traces of aluminum. The back of the deodorant also says "No Aluminum Chlorohydrate" which is true, however this product is NOT completely aluminum free with potassium alum as an ingredient. It's disheartening that the seller was not only misleading in their description, but also provides NO WAY TO RETURN/EXCHANGE when the item is defective or doesn't work per their description. So I threw it away- waste of money!Does the product smell good? Sure. Does the packaging look nice? Yes. Is it a NATURAL deodorant that is truly aluminum free? NO.If you just want something that has less aluminum than the typical name brands, then try it out. It worked somewhat better than other "natural" deodorants containing potassium alum/mineral salts-- if you don't mind having to reapply several times per day to combat the smelliness. If you're like me and looking for a truly aluminum free deodorant that is natural and a healthier alternative to chemical filled products- Save your time and money on this one! I discovered native after this product failed to meet my expectations and haven't looked back since.Ive used natural deodorant off and on for years. I'll buy it, try it for a week, then get rid of it and go back to the aluminum stuff. I've made it 2 weeks with this! There's no overpowering scent or cakiness. It goes on like normal deodorant (for those who have tried the stuff you rub in). I didn't get a rash (I did with soapwalla), it wasn't sticky (Honest spray deodorant), and it doesn't get foamy (Toms). It's the best I've ever tried. I still sweat a bit and avoid clothes where it's noticeable, but I'm trying to give my body time to adjust. I gave it 4 stars since I have to reapply it during my work day. I just keep it in my purse which is odd, but it's better than slathering aluminum in my pits.Very happy with my product. I was looking for an aluminum-free alternative to Dove powder scented antiperspirant and this is close as I've gotten. I tried popular brands like Toms and more obscure brands like Primal Pits and all of them left me with BO after a couple of hours. I'm not one to keep reapplying throughout the day. This one keeps me from stinking pretty much all day, assuming I don't sweat excessively. Also, it doesn't leave chalky, white residue behind on my underarms and it applies smoothly. I'm giving 4 only because it still doesn't measure up to my old Dove deodorant; I get the feeling it's as close as I'll get using a natural deodorant, however, and I'm ok with that.Company has changed the formula. It still has the same wonderful smell but is no longer soft and creamy when you apply it. Very disappointed with the new formulation. Fragrance does not last as long. Wish I could buy some of the original product.I really wanted to like this deodorant. I had read raving reviews about how it is the best natural deodorant on the planet. Not so much for me. It fit right into the category of mediocre natural deodorants I have to reapply every 2 hours in order to smell fresh. It was kind of sticky and didn't rub off well onto my armpits. It smells great (powder scent), just didn't work super well. I was pretty disappointed.Before you read this review know that I am a male. I switched from a different natural deodorant because it was irritating my skin. I've been using this deodorant for about 3 weeks now. It works very well for the first 5 or 6 hour but afterwards it wears off. I am not a particularly active person so I can't blame it on that, If you re-apply it, it works again. Overall a good product that doesn't care the horrible side effects for the mainstream bars.When I bought this product, I bought it after seeing the brand on a Youtube video. The youtuber raved about this brand and how it was great on their armpits. I've used other nature brands and they've caused discoloration on my armpit and irritation. I'm happy to say this brand did not cause any of those things, but instead it didn't help with odor. I had to re-apply in the middle of the day to feel good and if I didn't have a chance to (which with my busy student life is often) then I could smell my pits by mid day. I wanted to love this product, but it just doesn't work for meNot aluminum free like they claim..Been using this for year getting ok results. Always suspected it wasnt 100% organic but others stuff dont work for me as well as this and not saying this was any shape perfect but mostly it did it job bit now i found out it does contain aluminum .. wtf i have bee fooled for so many year. And lately it has bee giving me a infection which made me wake up and read the comments and actually investigate its ingredients just the first one made me throw it away and get upset a toxic ingredient. Wow and them another ingredient which is alum a nice way to not say aluminium . What a f $&$,# this people are disguating and sick. Fake advertising shame on this conpany
