It comes off nicely from the sponge and doesn't cake on.The compact was completely different from the picture, and there was no brush, which I really prefer to a pad. I returned the item.I use this product for foundation - great color, easy to use and long lasting.I rated this product a 5 star because it is a great product...the coverage is great...as well as the shade...very hard for me to get a shade that looks natural...I prefer this to the stay golden...both work, but this shade-Neutral (MF/M) is the best for me!!!Seems goodComfortable to wear not to heavy or sticky
