I didn't get the pictured item, mine was from a different company through amazon. Don't know were its made but the bag says distributed by a place in Henderson, NV 89052. The bag is good for three years from the manufacture date. I got a bag that sat for a year so mine was good for two years instead when I ordered it. Final note, if you intend to take 547 milligrams(1/4 tsp), it will probably take you about 4-5 months to get there. You literally start out with a scant of powder and double it every 10 days or so.This stuff is strong, it gives very intense hot flashes.My hot flash experience:It starts out with my ears itching. Later it spreads through out my whole body basically from head to toe. My skin turns very bright red/pink. There is intense tingling pain, discomfort, and itching. It will last about 30-45 minutes. Sometimes this is instant, it happens right after you drink the powder but this only happens to me when I take more then I should at that time. I think if you slowly build up your tolerance, you will be fine. I love this stuff, I rarely have hot flashes anymore. You may want to consider a accurate scale or using measuring spoons every time you take this stuff. A few extra grains could mean the difference between a hot flash or none at all.
