Have used this type of marking chalk in quilting for years. This was just another refill for me. Easy to use and removes easily from fabric with a quick wipe with a damp cloth.The Chaco markers are the best. Glad to find these refillsI'll probably never use this again. I'm sure it's fine on medium colored fabric. I'm so glad I thought to test it on only one block of my quilt. After washing my quilt, I could see bits of blue under the quilting thread. Sure enough, it stained the white fabric. I had to replace the quilt block I used it on.terrific price for a great product.makes great removable marks.
