In makeup, I value 3 things the most: 1) stays on, 2) is clean, 3) looks natural and not cakey or powdery! This checks all the boxes, so I have been using it for years. It’s just as good as MAC StudioFix in my opinion… perhaps even better, because it’s trying to be healthy for our skin (I (hope?! Lol). I also love how there are so many shades to choose from! I actually own two of them, because my neck and under-eyes are not quite the same level of light and dark. It all blends beautifully. Highly recommend this foundation, and pro tip to everyone! ;)I love this foundation and chose it for its SkinDeep rating. It provides great coverage, matches my very fair neutral skin tone we'll, and doesn't make my skin angry. The one con is that it does get dewy after a few hours but I actually really like a natural, dewy finish so I don't mind. If that's a con to you, I'd suggest a quick touchup midday and you should be good to go!So happy I found this great foundation. I’m embarrassed to say how much money I’ve spent over the years searching for a natural looking foundation in powder, liquid or creme forms.I have combination skin. Dry checks/nose area, somewhat oily chin and forehead.Application method that has finally worked for me:>>> Embryolisse Lait Creme Sensitive moisturizerhas been working great for me as a summer and winter time moisturizer. Just allow it time to sink into your face before tapping on this powder foundation. Ponds (with blue cap) is my second choice for winter moisturizing. After cleansing and drying my face I apply a face moisturizer, I do not over apply, just enough to lightly cover my whole face. If by chance I over apply moisturizer I press (not wipe) a clean wash cloth into my skin to dab off any excess.I tried a total of 8 different moisturizers, high and low end, for different reasons they just didn’t work with my skin and this foundation. After I apply moisturizer I WAIT until it has fully absorbed into the skin (around 15 min). Your face should feel soft not sticky. Some brushes for powder foundation application did not work at all, they left streaks or just seemed to absorb a lot of the foundation powder. The best way to apply, for me, was using my old It Cosmetics heavenly lux flat top buffing foundation brush.Lightly swirl the brush into the foundation, lightly tap off excess powder. Then use circular motions/or tap when applying the foundation to your face. I apply ligthly, if I need more I apply more.I would say this is a light to medium coverage foundation depending on how much you decide to apply. So far I have not had any breakouts from this foundation. At first my face appeared a tad chalky looking. Around 10 min later though I can see that product has become absorbed into the skin and I the finish up with the rest of my face makeup application, blush, etc.Beautiful and very natural looking! My husband also said it looks very natural. If I’m running around lot and oil appears on my forehead or chin I just dab the excess oil with tissue paper or small piece of paper towel, it does not remove the foundation.Highly recommend !I bought this because I couldn't find Physicians formula mineral powder at the time. It's what I've used since 2018. I have large pores and a crease in between my eyebrows, and this brand of powder caked in them. However, I gave it to my daughter, and it's all she'll use now. She's ordered 2 more and one of her softball team mates swears by it now. So, it is an awesome product for youthful skin.I have a lot of rosy/redness in my face. This powder does a great job giving my skin an even tone. It looks natural and lasts long on the face. Use a kabuki brush for the best look.Product works well, it's light coverage as expected for a pressed powder. The color descriptions are not at all correct. I have on the fair side of medium skin with red undertones. With that information i ordered Cool 2. To say it is too light is an understatement. I then bought Neutral 3 because it appeared to be the same color as my current powder in another brand. It is very close but still a bit too light. My favorite powder foundation so far. Has good coverage and isn't cakey. Much better than the nyx stay matte powder foundation which I returned because it was super cakey and made me oily too fast. The only thing I have about this product is it is a bit expensive..I've used this pressed powder for a long time and it does a pretty good job of covering up my skin problems, of which there are many. Only drawback is that it's rather difficult to remove and only some makeup removers will work. But I guess that's why it does a good job of hiding the imperfections!Very good coverage, economic use and exact tone!I've used this foundation for years. Unfortunately, it's so hard to find this brand in my city, and I'm very happy Amazon has started carrying it.Here's why:- I have oily skin. This foundation is a god-send for people with oily skin as it does not "schlick" off or look greasy when your oil starts to kick in like a liquid foundation would. In fact, throughout the day, this foundation manages to makes your skin look more radiant. I've used many liquid foundations that, even when paired with a loose or translucent powder at the end, go into my fine lines and make me look like I just rolled around in a barrel of oil for a couple hours. This foundation does not.- Easily blendable and buildable. I am not a makeup artist, and I just want something easy to apply. This makeup does not require techniques or skill. You just put it on wherever you feel. I have acne scars and hormonal acne, and all it takes for that extra coverage is a little extra dab of this foundation with a small brush on the problem area. I get compliments all the time on how beautiful and "clear" my skin looks while wearing this, even though I've struggled with adult acne for most of my life.- Non-comedogenic. This is the only foundation I've used that does not cause me to break out or clog my pores. I don't know how it works, but somehow it does.- Blends into your skin tone (for the shades that are available). For years, I've never been able to find a foundation that could match my skin tone. Every makeup artist and every makeup website has tried, and I always end up looking either too dark or too light. I have an olive skin tone made up of warm and cool tones, so it's hard to find a match. This foundation in the color warm 2 is the only tone of foundation I've found that completely matches my face. This is also true for my much darker mother, who uses one shade darker, and has found that this makeup somehow manages to change and blend into your natural skin tone.If any of those struggles apply to you, I would definitely recommend giving this a try!this is the powder I always use and I am very pleased with itUsed to buy at Whole Foods in US. I'm so glad I could buy at Amazon UK :)I really like this product. It goes on nice and light and doesn't settle into fine lines. In spite of being so light, it gives amazing coverage where needed! It hides my adult acne and red spots with no problem. The only negative I can say is that the shades are lighter than they appear so go with one darker than you think you need. Great for ageing yet acne-prone skin!
